The Luxembourgish broadcaster RTL will be broadcasting the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 live.
For the first time viewers in Luxembourg will be able to watch the Junior Eurovision Song Contest live on RTL. RTL Zwee will be broadcasting the final of the contest live from Madrid, Spain. Commentary will be provided by Raoul Roos and Eric Lehmann. Raoul Roos was one of the presenters of the Luxembourg Song Contest 2024 and was one of the Luxembourgish commentators for Eurovision 2024. Eric is currently the Head of Press for Luxembourg at Eurovision.
Luxembourg is one of a number of non-participating countries that will be broadcasting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 live from Madrid:
Croatia – HRT 2
Lithuania – LRT
Luxembourg – RTL Zwee
RTCG of Montenegro also earlier this year stated its intention to air the contest. However, TV schedules have not yet been released for the contest day on RTCG.
Junior Eurovision 2024
The 2024 edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Madrid, following their second-place finish at the 2023 contest. The final will take place at the Caja Mágica on November 16, bringing the contest back to a Saturday for the first time since 2015. The winner, France, declined the hosting responsibility after hosting the 2023 edition in Nice.
