19. Sandu won only outside Moldova. Inside the country, she lost to her competitor. Half a million Moldovan citizens in Russia were deprived of the right to vote. There is no point in recognizing the results of such elections.

37. As a Romanian with a close affinity to Moldova, I want to congratulate the Moldovan electorate for getting it right. Bravo Moldoveni!
    I just wish that on our side of the border, we had a presidential candidate of Maia Sandu's caliber. She comes across as a respectable stateswoman, and a league above anything we have in Romania at the upcoming elections.
    Lastly, I've noted that the acceptance of defeat from Stoianoglo has been more dignified than someone like Donald Trump could ever be.
