HRT has announced that Nika TurkoviÄ and DuÅ”ko ÄurliÄ will commentate on the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
The Croatian broadcaster has announced its commentators for its broadcast of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest live from Madrid, Spain. DuÅ”ko ÄurliÄ has commentated on the Eurovision Song Contest for HRT since 2006 and has also hosted multiple editions of Dora, its selection for Eurovision.
Nika TurkoviÄ is no stranger to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest having represented Croatia at the 2004 contest in Norway. Nika has gone on to become a popular singer and songwriter in Croatia and had a number 1 album in 2023.
HRT, the Croatian public broadcaster, will broadcast the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 live for viewers on HRT 2. The broadcast is the first time since 2014 that the Croatian broadcaster has aired the contest and will be the first time HRT airs the contest without Croatia competing in the contest.

RTCG ofĀ MontenegroĀ also earlier this year stated its intention to air the contest. However, TV schedules have not yet been released for the contest day on RTCG.

Croatia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and won the first competition represented by Dino JelusiÄ and his song āTi si moja prva ljubavā. Following their victory, Croatia was due to host the competition after the United Kingdom had difficulties. However, Croatia also had to withdraw as their planned venue was booked for the dates of the contest. Croatia went on to participate until 2006 when they withdrew from the competition. In 2014 Croatia returned represented by Josie and her song āGame Overā. She finished last with 13 points.
