Heavy rains in Barcelona disrupt rail service as troops search for more flood victims in Valencia

Continuing storms in eastern Spain that led to massive flooding last week and killed at least 217 people, mostly near Valencia, dumped rain on Barcelona on Monday, prompting authorities to suspend commuter rail service. Spanish Transport Minister Óscar Puente said he was suspending all commuter trains in northeast Catalonia, a region with 8 million people, at the request of civil protection officials. FRANCE 24’s Sarah Morris reports.

  1. Seriously, this is already old news. It was yesterday Monday morning in Barcelona. Everything is back to normal this morning. The motorway was reopened yesterday afternoon after early morning flooding. It would be great if they built airports with roofs that don't leak but we're still working on that.

  2. climate change is weather control, weather modification (secret invisible strik weather weapons is secret crimes against civilians) weather corona…weather fixture…dirty leadership conspiracy…stupid things…

  3. Expect the unexpected…..thats the effect of climate change…….well thats the retaliate of the mother nature againts abbusive HUMANS…..,,, so sad but thats the fact

  4. As politicians and billionaires explained to us, there is no climate change. Ok, then let's introduce a special non-climate-change tax on them, to compensate for all damages occurring.
