Three films represent Kyrgyzstan at international film festival in Romania

AKIPRESS.COM – Three films by Kyrgyz directors are selected for the 1st International Film Festival “Quo vadis?” (“Where are you going?”), which is taking place in Romania on November 7-10.

According to the Cinematography Development Fund, Kyrgyzstan is represented by the films “Tenirberdi” (“God’s Gift”) by Asel Juraeva, “Akyrky koch” (“The Road to Eden”) by Bakyt Mukul and Dastan Japar uulu, and “Sagynbai Manaschy” by Ernest Abdyjaparov.

A total of 4 films from Central Asian countries are participating in the festival. The fourth is the film “Scream” by Kazakh director Kenzhebek Shaikakov.
