ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 13. President of
Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev considers Croatia a reliable
partner of Kazakhstan in the European Union, Trend reports

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev articulated this insight
during a strategic dialogue with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej
Plenković, occurring within the framework of the UN Climate Change
Conference COP29, currently convening in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The leaders of the two nations had a heart-to-heart about the
state of their partnership, covering everything from trade and
economy to investment as well as the cultural and humanitarian ties
that bind them. The heart of the matter in the conversation
revolved around rolling up our sleeves for joint investment
projects in the energy sector. The President of Kazakhstan
expressed support for Croatian companies doing business in
Kazakhstan. The possibility of streamlining the visa process was
also explored.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev capitalized on the opportunity by inviting
his colleague to participate in the second International Astana
Forum, which is scheduled to take place next year. In his turn,
Andrej Plenković also extended an invitation to the President of
Kazakhstan to visit Croatia.

To note, the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to
the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which will
run until November 22, opened on November 11 at the Baku Olympic
Stadium. A total of 67,000 people have registered to participate in
