The Elf Doll presents risks of cuts and injuries

In a safety warning the supermarket chain have urged people to stop using the product immediately and return it to store for a full refund.
The toy is Naughty Elf Doll 12″ and Iceland have recalled it after becoming aware the doll may have a manufacturing defect. The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) stated: “The product presents a risk of cuts and injuries to the user as some products may have an accessible sharp edge.
“The affected batches of the product do not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011. The affected batches have been recalled from end users. Consumers in possession of the naughty elf doll should check their batch details which can be found on the product packaging directly above the barcode label.”

In Iceland’s official notice they have stated batches 25009 and 23294 are the batches that may be affected and no other batches have been impacted by the product recall. If you have purchased a Naughty Elf Doll 12″ you should stop using the product and return it to the retailer or stocklist it was purchased from for a full refund.
They added that if you are aware of someone else who has purchased the product to ask them to stop using it. If you have any further questions, Iceland suggest contacting the manufacturer Gem Imports Ltd on 01226-395095.
