Jantoro Mirzaliev wins gold medal of tournament in Belarus

AKIPRESS.COM – Jantoro Mirzaliev from Kyrgyzstan won the international Greco-Roman wrestling tournament in Belarus, the Wrestling Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

The Oleg Karavaev Memorial Tournament started in Minsk on November 29.

Mirzaliev competed in the 67 kg weight category and started from the 1/8 finals. He won 3 rounds and reached the final, where he defeated Igor Punchenko from Russia with a score of 4:0.

Nurbolot Berdikulov from Kyrgyzstan competed in the 55 kg weight category, and also reached the final. In the final, he also fought against Russian representative Alibek Amirov, but lost to him with a score of 4:7 and won silver medal.
