According to the foundation’s 2023 tax records, reviewed by PEOPLE, the Sussexes’ nonprofit organization allocated $1.3 million of the over $5 million raised to charitable causes. These figures cover the period from January to December 2023.

    Good for the Sussexes. They’ve been doing meaningful work ever since they left the RF and shown you don’t need taxpayer money to do charity work.

    (as someone with small scale experience in not USA: paying for staff and facilities + funding future endeavors eats up a massive chunk of funds raised. This is expected, regulated and normal)

  3. Looks like the tax filing and annual reports cleared up some rumours. Anyway, I really like the types of charities and causes they’ve been supporting lately.

  5. I’ve not heard about missing money but this still seems a bit too low. Does a foundation really need that much to run?
