LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – A group of Oklahoma Lawmakers are raising issues with the state’s recently announced partnership with Denmark.
Earlier this week, Governor Kevin Stitt announced the Memorandum of Understanding which aims to increase collaboration between the two governments in areas like energy, technology and defense.
But members of the Oklahoma Freedom Caucus, including Senator Dusty Deevers of Elgin, raised their concerns over the agreement.
Particularly, they took exception to the agreements use of terminology like “clean energy” and “carbon capture.”
