Does he need a name of a specific person to issue a pardon? Like, what if the crime is known but the person isn’t?

Joe Biden should self pardon himself. This will either force Trump to
a. Leave Biden alone because the pardon protect him
b. Have courts rule against self pardons so he can attack biden, but then Trump won’t be able to pardon himself.

This is so dumb. He has no legal justification to go after any of them, so why would a pardon help? If he’s going to go after them, he’s not going to follow the law in order to do it. And if the courts don’t stop him…a pardon isn’t going to mean anything.
