The eruption that began at the Sundhnúka crater on November 20 has fizzled out.
The volcanic activity has slowly subsided in recent days, but no activity has been visible in the last crater since yesterday morning.
Árni Sæberg, a photographer for Morgunblaðið and mbl.is, took aerial photos of the eruption site on Saturday.
