  1. So, that doesn’t say administration compensation, that says administrative costs, which is an important distinction. It has become more expensive to run hospitals, and so they have a higher administrative cost.

  2. Would be great to see this for colleges and universities too.

    A lot of non-value adding costs. This would be unacceptable in most other industries.

  3. Would administration costs also include insurance premiums for malpractice/lawsuits? I hate it when businesses cut professional staff, but it ends up causing mistakes/oversights that lead to patient deaths, and then lawsuits. Why not employ more bedside staff and take better care of patients?
