LITCHFIELD — The White Memorial Conservation Center will host Iceland’s Unseen: Elves and Hidden People with Ragnhildur Jonsdottir at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 21 on Zoom and in the A.B. Ceder Room at 80 Whitehall Rd.

Iceland has always been a land full of mysteries and wonder; from its numerous volcanoes to its landscapes, to the fact that 60 percent of Icelanders believe in Elves and Huldufolk. But why?

For her entire life, Ragnhildur Jonsdottir has been gifted with the ability to communicate with Iceland’s Unseen. This ability brought worldwide attention to her and her friends in 2014 when the Elves asked for help in preventing an unnecessary road from being built through their homes and their church. She and her story were the subject of a 2014 documentary film, “The Seer and the Unseen.”

There is a fee for non-members.

A zoom link will be emailed upon registration.
