The Critic’s Choice awards are presented annually to honor the best achievements in film and television, and are also considered one of the predictors of Oscar nominations.

Gints Zilbalodis’ animated feature “Flow”, which already won the European Film Academy Award for Best European Animated Film of the Year on December 7, was nominated for a Golden Globe just a few days later, and has received numerous other international awards and nominations, will be up for two Critic’s Choice awards – Best Animated Feature and Best Foreign Film.

In the animation category, Flow will be up against Inside Out 2, Memoir of a Snail, Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, and The Wild Robot.

In the Foreign Film category, the list of nominees also includes All We Imagine as Light, Emilia Pérez, I’m Still Here, Kneecap and The Seed of the Sacred Fig.

The full list of nominations can be found on the awards website.

The winners will be revealed on January 12, five days before the Oscar nominations are announced. As the US film awards season gathers momentum, “Flow” is among the films that experts predict will be nominated for the Oscars.
