Bought this wee jumper in Dunnes as it’s been baltic in work for a few days. Loved the wee embroidered crisps. Obviously a pun on Kris Kringle but I’ve no idea on the Kindle bit and if there’s a correlation with the pint of stout. Every single person who’s commented on it is equally clueless. Does it actually mean anything? Am I being a dick? Will they ever put the heating on in work? Please help. Cheers x

Maybe a pint kindles the need for some crisps? Best I can think of.
As a German I immediately thought about “Christkindl” but that wouldn’t make sense in an English speaking country as nobody knows what a “Christkindl” is 😂
Kris Kindle is just another term for Kris Kringle. It’s a pretty shite pun but sure what can you do…
Looks like one of Stephen Heffernan’s doodles if I’m not mistaken
I thought it was somehow referencing Amazon’s popular e-reader… at Christmas I’d often drink Guinness, eat crisps, and try not to get the screen all greasy with my fingers while trying to avoid small talk with family. Very festive.
That there’s a play on words so it is
It’s like ine of those Chinese t-shirts with English in them. ‘Technical Happy Rocket Cool Face’ written in the front and a picture of Ian Dowie in an afro wig in the back.
So I work for a Dublin firm and this has come up loads this year. I think Kris Kindle is their version of secret Santa. But this is me just trying my best to understand so could be completely wrong
Spoonerism?
We are having a Xmas jumper day next week, and I didn’t have a jumper. So I dropped into the local Dunnes Stores ( 5 mins walk from the office) and got this jumper, I also want to know what it means….. A pint and pack of crisps, it just doesn’t make sense,.glad I kept the receipt, i might have to return it.
I have no idea but I want one
