Now that this shit has happened, anyone had issues yet? This is an example from a site my missus buys from. Etsy sellers have had to put shops on holiday mode apparently as there's no way to exclude NI from ready of the UK, there's people guring they are NI based and cannot sell online to NI due to the restrictions. Load of dick.

Etsy is going to be an issue too. Such bullshit isn’t it 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
At least we’re getting that extra £350 million a week for the NHS Boris was on about…..
Brexit benefits, a bunch of lies touted by liars and swallowed by a bunch of gullible cunts.
DUP got its wishes
Well people had been warned that brexit would shaft people, but people still voted for it, and the further we distance from the EU as time goes on, the more things like this will start to happen. Love seeing how newspapers are blaming the EU when it was “us” (the UK)who voted for it.

DUP happy to return to the luddite age.
Why do we bend over backwards to accommodate the EU? What benefits is NI gaining from this arrangement? Brexit is a reality, whether one wishes to accept so or not, it’s high time we had politicians who stood up for NI’s interests in all of this.
Unionism always gets what it deserves. The rest of us suffer.
All of us
Can the complaince person be based here, and can it be an agency that supplies multiple businesses?
I’ve been regularly buying from small businesses for years, mostly candles and wax melts, and now I can’t get them anymore. I’m gutted and refuse to go back to Yankee Candle. I’ve searched for similar shops in NI and in the south but can’t find anything like them.
Brexit is a bag of shit.
England might not be ready to admit it, but we don’t have to pretend.
No comment on Brexit – but I could never order from a company who uses such a horrific font
A big round of applause everybody for all the fucking clowns that voted for Brexit. Well done morons, well done indeed.
Does this also apply to eBay?
Typical EU adding extra rules for no reason
I’m in a few etsy groups, and there were a few commenter who were frothing at the mouth to turn off shipping here early because they hated shipping to NI for some reason.
As a crafter myself, the main problem I have had is people cancelling orders for my craft supplies.
But the alliance part and provos say everything is great!
Genuine question, and that is would sellers based here realistically have little/no impact from this legislation? (Other than potentially within their own supply chains).
So for example, one based here could continue to run an Etsy/eBay store and not much would be different?
IRISH SEA BORDER IS SHITE !
The new rules, mainly to stop the chinese crap that flood the UK getting into EU.
