Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman in Banbridge, County Down.

Emergency services were called to an incident in Laurel Heights shortly after 18:00 GMT on Saturday.

The ambulance service said two paramedics attended the scene, but no one was taken away.

A number of police cordons remain in place on Sunday morning.

    The only answer to this is long and punitive sentencing for low level domestic crimes.

    Happy for the ceasefire to be broken for anyone guilty of domestic abuse.

    Edit: when I said ceasefire I meant the treaty of Versailles.

  3. Domestic violence is a fucking scourge upon this country. Northern Ireland has the highest level of violence against women in EUROPE! the police simply do not have enough power to help in situations like this, the penalties are too low and there is fuck all resources for victims.
