A common trope repeated and often upvoted on this subreddit is that the money and promotion of charitable activities delivering aid to Gaza is a waste of time and makes no difference. And yet I see videos and pictures like this regularly – children holding bags of rice and flour that have been distributed by organisations directly funded by individual donations sent from people in the UK and Ireland.
Their lives have value.

Ar fheabhas ar fad!
This is heart warming to see and it’s exactly the reason I go out constantly to protests and marches.
Someone has to fight for these kids future.
No matter what side you sympathise with in the Israeli-Palestinian war, this is the human reality of the conflict. Just regular families and children having to survive day to day in a war zone. Maybe sympathise with them from now on?
Fair play to the organisation who funded this humanitarian aid effort to deliver water to these regular people.
Shame on our world leaders for letting this happen, it’s absolutely abhorrent that we’re still fighting wars like this in this day and age
