The South East Antrim (SEA) UDA is being accused of protecting yet another pervert.
The terror gang, which has defended three convicted sex offenders in recent months, is at the centre of a cover-up around a sex attack in north Belfast.
The incident occurred last month in the White City estate, which has a strong SEA UDA presence. Sources say a woman was forced into having sex with at least one drug dealer with links to the crime group.
More than a week after Sunday Life first enquired about the matter, the PSNI made an arrest last Tuesday.
A spokeswoman said: “Detectives from the PSNI arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent, on December 10. He has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.”

SEA UDA sources have named the sex attacker, and another suspect who may have been involved. They say that after the victim first raised concerns both went into hiding, with one only emerging after his arrest last Tuesday.
“The father of one of these men is friends with the South East Antrim UDA’s ‘military commander’, a dangerous murderer who is in charge of the UFF,” said an insider.
“The ‘military commander’ has sent his heavies round to defend both perverts, telling people that the girl is making up lies. No one believes it, though. Anyone can see what is happening here — the UDA is trying to blacken the victim’s name and make her out to be a liar.”
SEA UDA sources say the terror gang’s bosses are desperate to avoid becoming embroiled in another scandal after they were accused of protecting three convicted sex predators.
It has led some loyalists to rebrand the group as the ‘South Beast Antrim UDA’.

In October, Graham Bingham Jnr (32), the son of SEA UDA cut-throat killer Graham ‘Carlo’ Bingham, was convicted of sexually assaulting two young women in a nightclub. But the former soldier continues to live in the loyalist Rathcoole estate in Newtownabbey with SEA UDA leaders’ approval despite some members demanding he leaves the area.

Other sex offenders the SEA UDA have been accused of protecting include paedophile Bradley McGarrell (21), who was jailed for a series of sickening sex assaults on a 13-year-old girl.
The SEA UDA is reported to have taken £5,000 from his associates in return for him being allowed to live in Rathcoole.

Ex-soldier Jonny Falls (39), who was jailed for sexually assaulting a sleeping woman, has been living in Rathcoole and seen in the company of senior SEA UDA members.

The paramilitary group’s bosses have also had complaints about a notorious member who has been sleeping with teenage girls in return for clearing their cocaine debts.

A pattern is emerging.
Surely there comes a point where the terrorist scum are no longer ‘rocked’ by having rapists and paedophiles within their ranks?
This’ll really damage their reputation
They’re getting as bad as the Shinners
Does anyone else think it’s fucking surreal that headlines like this even exist? That a literal gang is talked about as if they’re some professional organisation with standards?
They’re all fucking scum
Well I for one am shocked, shocked I tells ye.
This is a stain upon the good name of the UDA.
Yet the Sunday Life is playing it down and shying away from using the word rape.
Why is it a surprise to anyone when thugs break the law in the worst ways imaginable?
belfast telegraph is a complete rag
Paramilitaries in being sex offender shocker.
This gives paramilitary drug gangs a bad name. Disgusted.
