No. 16 UK overcomes early deficit to remain unbeaten at home

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WYMT) – The 16th-ranked Cats hosted Belmont in the annual Holiday game against Belmont on Friday, Dec. 20.

Kentucky got off to a slow start and trailed at the end of the first quarter by one point. The deficit grew to six points by the halftime break.

Georgia Amoore was one of the main catalyst in UK’s comeback. She scored 23 points off seven triples.

Kentucky found a way to win and remain unbeaten at home, 84-76.
