In an unexpected turn of events, LSQ feat. Lara, one of the contestants at Dora 2025, has withdrawn from the competition. Unfortunately, fans will not have the chance to hear “Mama” on the Dora stage this year.
Following the competition rules, the first reserve act has now been given the opportunity to compete. This means that Swingers will step in with their song “Full Cool”.
This is not the first time a reserve act has made it to Dora. Last year’s winner, Baby Lasagna, secured his spot under similar circumstances and went on to represent Croatia at Eurovision 2024. Could history repeat itself with Swingers?
The withdrawal comes amid a record number of submissions for Dora 2025, with the HRT jury selecting 24 finalists and 4 reserve entries.
