  1. Curious to know how the definition/criteria of what is generally considered a terrorist organization/act of terrorism has changed over the same time period. That would be an interesting read.

  2. TLDR: It’s peaked at mid 2010s because ISIS is main combatants in Syria/Iraq so every attack labeled as terrorist attacks.

  3. It is a gray issue to discuss. We need to be objective at the root causes of people using terror as a means to an end, and the ones providing the tools to enable it at large scales

    Edit: I am being downvoted. It seems that people love simple answers to complex problems

  4. Millions have died due to America’s response to the fear of terrorism. State militaries and bombing campaigns have always caused far more damage and death than terrorism ever has. But yeah, let’s keep worrying about terrorism by disproportionateoy responding to it and killing 100x more people than terrorists ever could.
