Sarah Ferguson has wished her followers a Happy New Year and urged them to make ‘joy bubbles’ in a message from Austria.
The Duchess of York, 65, wrapped up warm in a burgundy suede coat as she stepped outside in Altaussee to record her New Year message.
Sarah, who has received treatment for two forms of cancer in 2024, revealed that she was full of ‘gratitude’ and urged her 750,000 followers to ‘always turn to joy’.
In the clip, which was shared on her Instagram, she said: ‘Hello from Austria, from Altaussee, a very, very Happy New Year to you all and thank you. Just huge gratitude, huge love.’
Blowing her breath into the cold air she added: ‘You can see it’s minus seven out here look.’
She concluded the video by saying: ‘And let’s make joy bubbles, and really embrace the love, and always turn to joy.’
Keeping her famously red hair tied back, the former wife of Prince Andrew appeared in great spirits as fireworks went off in the background of the clip.
The mother-of-two, who shares Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie with the Queen’s second son, added a bit of glamour with gold hoop earrings.

The message to her followers comes one day after she seemingly launched an influencing career, after sharing a paid partnership post to her social media account.
Sarah took to Instagram to recommend a mental health and well-being app called Zoul, which also boasts Lottie Tomlinson, sister of One Direction’s Louis, as a partner.
It comes one month after Sarah’s former husband Prince Andrew, 64, was reportedly ‘cut off’ by King Charles, 76, marking a new low in relations between the brothers.
An updated biography by acclaimed royal writer Robert Hardman, serialised by the Mail, revealed that, despite the Duke of York’s attempts to call the monarch’s bluff, Charles acted decisively.
In November, Charles is thought to have instructed his Keeper of the Privy Purse, the monarchy’s finance director, to sever his beleaguered brother’s annual personal allowance – believed to be in the region of £1 million a year – and no longer pays for his seven-figure private security detail.
‘The duke is no longer a financial burden on the King,’ confirmed a source to the Daily Mail’s Royal Editor, Rebecca English.
The King, who has also long made clear his wish to see Andrew move out of his vast 30-room mansion at Windsor, Royal Lodge, has now placed the ball firmly back in his brother’s court.

Now, Sarah, who still lives with her ex Prince Andrew, may be taking matters into her own hands with the paid partnership post for Zoul – an app that she is an ‘equity partner’ for – and she will continue to ‘share more of my journey with Zoul throughout 2025’.
Strolling in a garden with two dogs, including a Corgi – a favourite breed of the late Queen Elizabeth – Sarah told her followers of how Zoul has helped her practise mindful habits, such as taking a moment to sit in silence.
She said: ‘You know, I have really found real joy and peace. It wasn’t cancer that kickstarted me into taking the shackles off my heart, but it was because of mindfulness and mental wellness.
‘I was researching where I would get all the information about the most incredible app that you can then do a different kind of mindfulness and mental wellness, to just be, well in your heart and enjoy this very second.
‘So, I would love to talk to you about Zoul… It’s an incredible app, and I am delighted to be able to share with you because I’m so proud of it, I’m so proud of Doctor DD and the entire team.
‘I think it’s so important that when you have something that brings you so much happiness to share it, so thank you for that.
‘What I do every single day is I find a really quiet place… I love trees, I like to walk in the garden, I like to walk and be really mindful about gratitude.
‘I’m taking you here with me today and we are sitting on this bench… and we are mindfully silent and we’re looking and we’re thinking about just how lucky we are.

Sarah praised the app further in the caption, saying she is ‘incredibly proud of this collaboration’
‘You know they always say ”trees speak”, well, I like to sit here, just think, and be in silence, so rather than talking to you, I am going to be in silence right now.’
The royal concluded the video by saying: ‘Thank you Doctor DD, thank you for Z-O-U-L-, Zoul’.
She praised the app further in her caption, saying: ‘As we reflect on the year gone by and the one that lies ahead, I know 2024 has been a challenging time for many.
‘In my life, I was diagnosed with skin cancer and breast cancer. I’m not ashamed to say that it’s been tough. Sometimes, all of us are overwhelmed by loneliness, anxiety, or sleeplessness.
‘So this year, I decided to seek out tools that can help with healthfulness, wellness, and peacefulness. That’s why I’m excited to be partnering with @zoul.meditate,, a new meditation, wellness, and sleep app.
‘In those times when I needed a simple reminder that ”everything will be okay,” Zoul’s personalised voice has helped me to find peace, quiet my mind, and work on my own inner strength and resilience.

‘As part of our partnership, Zoul is providing valuable audio content in 17 languages, supporting communities worldwide facing mental health challenges. They will also donate to my charity, @sarahs_trust, to fund mental health and wellness initiatives across the UK and globally.
‘I’m incredibly proud of this collaboration. Our shared mission to bring mindfulness and a focus on mental wellbeing to everyday life is something I truly believe in.
‘You can listen to my audio messages and read the letter I’ve written for you now for free on Zoul. I hope these tools will help you find peace, strength, and resilience as we move into 2025.
‘I believe in this mission so much, I am an equity partner and I plan to share more of my journey with Zoul throughout 2025 so do download the app and join me if you’d like to be a part of it.’
