  1. If you want to add data for Germany, look here: [https://www.destatis.de/DE/Themen/Branchen-Unternehmen/Landwirtschaft-Forstwirtschaft-Fischerei/Tiere-Tierische-Erzeugung/Publikationen/Downloads-Tiere-und-tierische-Erzeugung/statistischer-bericht-viehhaltung-2030213239005.xlsx?__blob=publicationFile](https://www.destatis.de/DE/Themen/Branchen-Unternehmen/Landwirtschaft-Forstwirtschaft-Fischerei/Tiere-Tierische-Erzeugung/Publikationen/Downloads-Tiere-und-tierische-Erzeugung/statistischer-bericht-viehhaltung-2030213239005.xlsx?__blob=publicationFile)

You would need to aggregate the data a lot, I’m afraid.

Statistisches Bundesamt has data about everything 😉

  2. This is cool. I never realized sheep tend to be kept in warmer climates.

  3. There are so many pigs in the Dutch province of Noord Brabant that it overflows

  4. Do most Europeans know what all 6 of those islands / archipelagos are (and French Guiana)? I was easily able to figure out the Canary Islands, Madeira, and Martinique, but not the other 3. It might be helpful to put labels on those 7 if they’re not super common knowledge just by shape.

  5. I don’t know why, but the Pig/km^2 unit is just so funny. All of them are funny, but swiping left and being greeted with that beauty was fantastic

  6. If the metric went by weight rather than numbers of animals it would look different. You don’t need as many cows to make a lot of meat (and milk).
