Jeremy Hunt backs UK troops on Ukraine border, labelling it the ‘only way’ to secure ‘sustainable peace’

3. He’s talking about if a negotiated peace deal is reached.

4. Why do I keep seeing it written as “on the Ukraine border” when the reality is they mean inside Ukraine to defend a potential DNZ/line of control.

   First things first, peace treaty needs to happen.

5. It’s allways these suits being the ones to be advocates of war, maybe he should send his own kids & family members over to secure that peace deal.

I find it hard to reconcile MP’s belief that it 1) is a tragedy if someone who chooses to force their way into the UK dies in the channel, but 2) a good thing for us to kill Russian conscripts who are forced to cross into Ukraine, and the moral choice is to send British soldiers to their deaths to achieve this.

   Either borders are worth killing over or they aren’t.

7. If only Jeremy Hunt had been in the governing party for the last 14 years he could have done something.

   Starmer is a fucking melt, but Tories heckling him for the five minutes he’s been in power while they had a decade and a half is easily one of the most pathetic things I have ever heard. Almost as pathetic as that Musk prick, “lobbying the king”.
