  1. The M&S ones in the gold box are where it’s at. Had them recommended to me after I went off Punjana myself.

  2. Cold night like that should be drinking cups of gravy.

  3. Been flat out on the Yorkshire Tea for over a year now, crackin cuppa!

  4. Dunno about loose tea leaf brands over there but after switching to it I can never go back to wee begs.

  5. Yorkshire Tea with Scottish Blend in second but it’s a pretty distant second

  6. Yorkshire tea’s a cracking cuppa like, PG is mid iMO, ringtons tea is alright abit sweet tho

  7. Punjana all the way. I did get sick of it for a while, maybe ten years back, but the search for an alternative made me appreciate it all the more in the end.

    Ma was a Namosa snob.

If I can indulge my own such wanky tendencies; the S.D. Bell’s ‘Belfast’ blend is a delicious alternative, although the bags are a bit on the small side so we save it for when there’s a pot going on the stove so it can get a better brew.

  8. I have sworn by Titanic Tea for years. Get them in Tesco for a couple of quid

  9. I know you said you’ve gone off Punjana.. but have you tried Thompsons Titanic tea? Recently switched from the “regular” red one to the Titanic a couple of months ago – it’s fucking lethal
