  11. Shes the youngest ever! Like they didn’t even give it to people in the 1600’s when life expectancy was much lower? Like 30 years old in the 1600’s was probably quite a reasonable age.

  12. The HoL is a deeply unserious cesspit of backslapping cronyism and backhanders. Johnson handing a peerage to some random doesn’t do much to bring it into disrepute any more than the usual. The tabloid level gossip that she’s either a lover or a lovechild does reek a bit of infantilising misogyny – a young woman is perfectly capable of being a corrupt careerist without sleeping with anyone.

  16. I’d heard there’s an injunction or super injunction in place forbidding any reference to a potential relationship with Johnson. A couple of friends of friends are journalists who told me about an injunction

    Can anyone confirm?
