Don’t understand how the CPS thought he could be found guilty for manslaughter when this was a clear suicide.
There is rightly a high threshold for convicting someone of manslaughter.
Yes he was convicted for the domestic abuse / Control / coercion. But this was not manslaughter by any means.
Imagine the floodgate that would open if suicide victims were all treated as manslaughter cases because they had mental health issues (caused by domestic violence or not).
She could have gone to a safe shelter for women, or gone to a hospital for help. It’s very sad she committed suicide and no doubt her mental health was affected by his awful behaviour. But HE did not KILL her.
He deserves much more and i hope he has a big fat number in his head that someone will want to cash in. Scum of the earth.
