1. This is a good idea, we should do the same for property in the UK.

   Sounds like it could be a good move to free up housing for locals.

4. But but but. They need us more than we need them. Spain needs British immigrants.oops x pats . To sit around all day. Not learning the local language.not integrating.watching sky tv. Turning parts of Spain into little England. Where are the brexit voting x pats now ?

5. wish the UK Government would do something similar. The only possible benefit of Brexit is leaving UK homes to be sold to UK buyers.

7. Rich Singaporeans own a lot of units in the Battersea Power station development. They should be taxed 100%.

8. Its not just UK buyers its all none EU buyers. And believe me Spain would hit all EU too if it was possible but unfortunately its to complex to try.

9. If that’s the case in a few years you’ll soon see those “purchase a property for £1 in a run down village that the local population don’t want to buy”

10. We should do exactly the same in the UK. Likewise, we should charge 10x council tax and use the funds to contribute towards building more homes
