It’s so infuriating. They have done absolutely nothing to ease this problem. The visiting window on wards lasts for 2 hours and you could be stuck in the queue from Broadway roundabout to the car park for well over an hour. Not to mention people trying to make it in for an appointment.
I just got an email that some private carpark company is taking over the entire trust’s parking system.
It may fuck up the £1 parking in the Mater Hospital but maybe improve or worsen the RVH or BCH parking.
I remember seeing a sign on the rvh site on a wire fence saying the same (facing the west link) and it’s been there oh 15 years?
The sign WAS the solution all along…..
Always been a nightmare, sat for over an hour recently in the q to get in. Not sure what the solution is
One day last year it took me an hour and twenty minutes to get from the westicles into the car park @ RVH. I hate to think how much time people with regular appointments waste sitting in their car on that site.
