Six more songs have been released ahead of this evenings auditions round for Etapa Națională 2025.

The auditions round for Etapa Națională 2025 takes place tonight in Chisinau with twenty-nine acts competing for ten places in the Moldovan national final. Ahead of the auditions, a further six songs competing in the selection have been released. The latest songs to be released are:

The live auditions stage takes place tonight in TRM’s studio no. 2. After the live auditions, a jury will select ten acts to proceed to the live final stage, scheduled on February 22. In the final of Selecția Națională 2025, the winner will be determined by 50% televoting and 50% jury voting.

Natalia Barbu performed “In The Middle” in Semi-Final One of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Moldova placed 13th in the Semi-Final scoring 20 points.

Moldova debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 when the contest was held in Kyiv, Ukraine. Moldova’s best result in the contest is 3rd place in 2017 for Sunstroke Project with “Hey Mamma!”. This was the second time the group had represented their country in Eurovision. Moldova has been represented by several artists who have competed in the contest before, with five acts having represented Moldova a combined eleven times.
