The 35 seconds is about a 30% decrease vs the playoff average last year (49.75 seconds)
21.5 of the 35 seconds was when the camera fixed on Taylor Swift and WNBA star Caitlin Clark sitting together coming out of a commercial break. During that 21.5 seconds, most of the time the announcers were talking about Caitlin Clark and her accolades.
And people will still complain
Still an improvement on previous years
I know I’m in the minority here. But it doesn’t matter what percentage of the entire broadcast including commercials she’s shown. She was shown six times and I literally could care less about her. I feel like it’s being shoved down my throat on purpose.Â
I like Taylor Swift. I like her music. I like the charity work she does. I think she’s a wonderful person. Show her once or twice and ok, I know she’s there thanks. Show her four more times for no reason and I’ll start rolling my eyes.
You disturb me. I love it!
2004 sure feels like last year.
The Taylor Swift sub has a game day thread every time Taylor is there. It’s full of positive energy, with lots of longtime football fans mingling with people who just started getting curious when Taylor started going. People explain game rules to new fans, everyone talks about the game, and it’s such a cheerful, positive place. I also know dads who are thrilled their daughters want to watch with them and spend time together. Anyone complaining about a few seconds of seeing a woman in the stands needs to get a grip. It’s not that serious. Let people have fun and be glad more people are watching football, if that’s something you care about.Â
.32% to much tbh. They rarely show other players girlfriends and wives.
You should have another graph comparing the airtimes of each game. Also what’s the 2004? Btw this is awesome. Gave you a few thumbs ups
Such a misleading way to present it. If they showed some random fan 6 times, people would go: “hey why do they keep showing this guy”?
I’m 100% positive that there were a lot of mean sofa tweets sent during those 35 seconds.
I think they might have been as high as 1.5% last year, resulting in incredible ratings from non football fans.. and outrage from the fans
Which is strange considering she performed the half time show. Those cameramen must really hate her.
I expected Caitlin Clark to be taller. She was just a little taller than Swift.
