Donald Trump labeled North Korea a “nuclear power” hours after taking the oath of office to become the 47th president of the United States on Monday, potentially signaling a shift toward recognizing Pyongyang’s nuclear status.
Addressing reporters while signing a slew of executive orders following his inauguration, Trump stated that North Korea was “a tremendous threat” when he first became president in 2017, but suggested the North Korean dictator would be pleased to see his return.
