Southport killer Axel Rudakubana’s twisted call to Childline

1. My gut feeling says a lot of red flags were ignored in the previous years and this guy should have been on a psychiatric centre under treatment.

2. >Axel Rudakubana called the charity – set up to support children – and asked: “What should I do if I want to kill somebody?” The call took place in October 2019 prosecutors told his court hearing today.

   I mean, isn’t that exactly the kind of thing he should have done?

   Don’t get me wrong, he’s a monster, but this sounds like someone who isn’t yet a monster reaching out for help with feelings that are growing inside him and he doesn’t know what to do about them?

3. The press definitely need to stop using that mugshot now, they’re likely deifying him for potential idiot copycats.

5. This isn’t twisted at all.  This was a child calling for help. 

   He should have been helped.

   The people who failed him, and society, must share some of the responsibility for the deaths of them poor kids.

   It’s not like there wasn’t ample warning something like this was going to happen.
