“Why the circumstances show it was NGN wanting to avoid a public trial—and not the costs risk on the claimants—that brought this case to its end”

I thought this was an interesting (and somewhat nerdy) analysis of the last minute settlement and why it was different from the other claimants’, for those of us who were curious about the legal machinations and strategy.

  1. Whoever side it was, what NGN did was unlawful and wrong, so many normal public lives were affected along with actors , Harry, William and Catherine. I think Harry feels his young life and significant relationship was affected by phone hacking and spying, so I hope he finds solace with the apology. Also I hope after legal fees, he has some money out of settlement.

  2. Murdoch is absolute scum. Much respect to Harry for staying in the fight.
