  15. Kate really is one of the prettiest looking royals in the British Royal Family, isn’t she?

  17. Some of these are style in a very 2012 way. 4 and 7 stand out as of the times. But the belted dresses in general were so in.

    She generally has a timeless classic style so I was surprised to see anything dated.

  19. Her style is incredibly dull. Every now and again, she’ll pull out a sassy dress or suit and look stylish, classic, and YOUNG. But mostly, she always looks stodgy.

  20. The era of the nude LK Bennett patent shoes that everyone bought because of her. I still wear mine, they are so comfortable!

  22. Wow, weird seeing a friend of mine in #12! Anyway, Kate is gorgeous and imo this was a golden year for her fashion-wise. The turquoise gown and the white and gold…stunning.

  23. Love the shorter hemlines that Kate wore in 2012. Her clothing in 2012 was more youthful, but always polished and appropriate for her role as the Duchess of Cambridge. She’s gorgeous!

  24. I love that while most of this has stood the time of the past 12/13 years some of it is delightfully 2012 fashion. It makes me smile.

  27. It occurs to me that this is the first generation that the future queen of England wore skirts above the knee and very often, 3-4” heels. I don’t know how she can stand and walk in them so often. Maybe she’s in constant pain? It’s a fashion thing that should go out of style for good, for the sake of women’s feet. They’re only worn for men. Reminds me of Chinese foot binding.

  28. In 2012 I was a sophmore/ junior in high school. I copied her! Not in brand name, but in style. Belted dresses, blazers, and  wedges were staples. 
    Most of these looks still hold up. 

    The colored Jeans are very 2012, I must say.
