  1. Just reposted this as the tech goblins broke my original link, this should work now

  2. Oh, what a lovely surprise! I’m glad she’s picking her work back up – it’s a good sign.

  3. She looks beautiful and healthy. It’s good to see her back out.

  4. The surprise visit is because the Princess of Wales has just taken on Tŷ Hafan as a new patronage.

Tŷ Hafan isn’t just a hospice. It is a specialist children’s hospice providing essential support and respite care for children with life-limiting and life-shortening conditions, and their families. The work they do there is incredible, and it is good to see the Princess shining a light on it.

  5. This part of the article made me sob. What a wonderful hospital. These doctors and nurses are heroes.

“She will also visit the memorial garden where there is a water feature made of pebbles which each have the name of a child who has passed away.

Bird song plays in the background, which plays the names of children who have passed away. The children’s names are translated into Morse code and then a bird is selected that represents their birth month, whose bird song is used for the children’s name.

Native birds in the area have started to mimic the recorded bird song, meaning that the Ty Hafan children are memorialised forever.”

  6. Her kindness reminds me so much of Princess Diana. She would be so proud of both Catherine and Will
