Not exactly sure how anybody is getting news from ‎WhatsApp as it is basically a formal text message service, except through shared exterior links to other sources of news.
I’m severely behind the times as far as social media goes (or maybe ahead of the time, if we dare hope for the pendulum to swing back to sanity… but probably not), but why this particular selection?
Isn’t this missing some huge players? It’s two explicitly right-wing sites/apps and then a bunch of random stuff.
This flood of awful posts using cherry-picked data as a half-assed political dog whistle is getting ridiculous.
Interesting that Twitter/X and Facebook are not listed.
