  1. Everything about this is beautiful and so kind to do. I’m sure it made such a difference in that girls week and brought a smile to her face.

Also the Archie and Lili on her sweater was adorable.

Getting back on IG was a really good call for her.

  2. > “You guys, I don’t even know what all this stuff means but it’s signed for her,” Meghan said as she showed merch with various designs.

Idk why this got me emotionally but it really did.

  3. Very tacky to post online, especially before even gifting to the girl. True intentions would keep this quiet and let the family decide if they want to share. Screams publicity stunt

  4. Ngl there really is no winning here when it comes to Meghan. Not a fan of hers at all, and even I realize there’s literally no way anything she does will be well received.

I do think it’s odd to share something that hasn’t been sent to someone yet. I do feel like it’s a bit name droppy. And also, if the girl this stuff is intended for has a great day and feels special because of this gift then that’s really all that matters at the end.

  5. Self-focused and name dropping. Bizarre what she chooses for her first foray back into sm.

  6. Just saw it on Instagram now. It’s a really nice gesture. I mean, even if the girl and her family cashed out the merch, it won’t recover what they lost. Imagine losing your entire home and neighborhood. Rebuilding will take years considering the amount of devastation. Insurance probably not going to cover 100% of the damage. And people want to be outraged over a few shirts and a signed album? Wild. It’s a choice.

  7. To all the folks who find Meghan tacky and horrible for doing this, you know what would really stick it to her? Throw some money at the Wildfire Relief Fund (silently, of course) and show Meghan how it should be done.

I’m being genuine; however you feel about Meghan, the community is still hurting. Give if you can.

  8. Goodness the MM haters swarming per usual. This was a sweet thing for her to do — this is something that girl will never forget and I’m sure it’s so much more meaningful when everything has been lost.

  9. This is a really nice thing to do. I don’t understand why this post is getting so much hate? Why is making a 15 year old kid happy a bad thing?

  10. What she did is sweet and hope the girl is happy. Still meghan needs to hire better PR who are non reactionary and listen to them, let them handle it. This feels like an influencer move which is okay if she wants to completely lean into it with her “with love, meghan” era.

  11. The video was kind of weird imo but this was a really kind gesture and I’m happy for the girl. OP, I’m sorry you’re getting mass downvoted. I’m not a fan of Meghan but the pure hatred some people have towards her is insane.

  12. I have no problem with the gesture but it looks like Meghan shot the video multiple times because the cuts are erratic. The video comes across as performative as a result. Good on her for trying to help a teenager.

  13. I’m by no means a Meghan hater but yeah, I also find it a bit tacky to share good deeds on social media.

  14. Any other celebrity doing this and everybody would be blowing kisses

  15. Meghan has been involved in other fire relief things; this is just one thing she posts about and people lose their minds. This was a very specific and kinda cool thing she was able to get for this girl I don’t find it weird that post about it just out of excitement

  16. The girl’s home is ashes. Who thinks tshirts will ease her loss? Meghan could buy her a house.
