I don’t wanna be too credible buuuut: Most of this comes over from Poland like always when it’s cold outside. Just look at pollution maps depending on when the wind changes directions.

Atmospheric pressure also makes a difference in regards to pollution rising/staying low to the ground etc..
(BTW Poland also has a much worse mix of energy production than Germany but I understand it’s feels bad to hate against them. It would also cause less division within the EU. )
