6. It’s a shame this house is know as Jimmy Savilles house and not the house of the previous owner.

   Dr. Hamish MacInnes was the Scottish mountaineer who owned the Glen Coe cottage that Jimmy Savile later purchased. MacInnes was known as the “Fox of Glencoe” for his mountaineering skills. He invented the Pterodactyl ice axe and the MacInnes stretcher, which is used by mountain rescue teams worldwide.
