I’m half English and half Welsh and tbh this sort of shit is just embarrassing. It’s bad enough that Wales are currently so awful, but getting salty about another team putting in a good performance and winning a match they weren’t expected to is just cringe.

Watched all the pubs draining out early this evening, roedd pawb yn edrych yn ddiflas.
Thank fuck I only like football, where there are low expectations for Cymru and tbh we’ve been doing better than expected for a long time.
Heard someone on the radio a few months ago say that more Welsh youngsters are into pêl-droed over rygbi, and if this is how it’s going then no wonder–not that winning is or should be the deciding factor in why we support a team, just that it helps sometimes.

We were shocking. Kick after kick, giving the ball away cheaply. We look clueless. I can accept that the team is transitional to a degree, but the players look tired even before the match.
Just wait until England come to Cardiff and the stadium is packed out with English, their anthem louder than ours and we’re outnumbered, because our fans are selling tickets to them rather than see another humiliating defeat.
Don’t think this could happen? The stain wash with white shirts, well it did in the 1990’s and it was gut wrenching to see.
I’ve not really been closely following the rugby in recent years… Could anyone tell me; why do we suck so bad?
