MAXBASS, ND (KXNET) — Scout Energy Management has reported a crude oil spill that happened on Wednesday, five miles northwest of Maxbass.
Scout estimates that about 300 barrels, or 12,600 gallons, of crude oil were released from a tank overflow, some of which sprayed off the well pad.
Department of Environmental Quality personnel are working to clean up after the spill and will continue to monitor the remediation.
