  1. If your chief god doesn’t look like an old homeless guy missing one eye, you’re not doing it right.

  2. The only thing i learned from greek mythology is, that greek women would rather have sex with animals than the average Stavros.

  3. I’m sorry PIGS bros, but Norse mythology is indeed very cool

  4. Greek Gods are potrayed hot af. Extremely attractive people are often compared to them.

  5. “This old couple who lived in a poor house and barely had anything fed me with all they could afford, but was not enough. This will be the thralls.”

Always get me. Shouldnt it be about compensating the effort or some shit like that…? Even their gods are authistic.

  6. 1. a twinky, smoothskinned, ‘never-seen-any-hardships’ ‘god’
    2. a rugged, battleworn, masculine god

No wonder the greeks are so gay

  7. Did you guys saw Greek mythology? Trust me you don’t wanna be anywhere near Greek Pantheon.

  8. Thanks to those evil Italians, we will never know ours. It was probably the best too.

  9. Italian ancient mythology be like: War God do the Bunga Bunga on a sleeping virgin priestess

  10. We should just take a minute to appreciate that all our pagan gods are actually pretty based. Just elevated versions of us, with the same range of emotions and shortcomings, messing with us just because they can. None of this “I’m the most perfect thing to exist and I want you to be peaceful except also kill everyone who doesn’t worship me and only me, and you’ll be tortured for all eternity if you disobey my rules.”

  11. Maybe not the best, but certainly the most appropriate Pagan mythology: ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the French sea beast cuckoldry.

Fredegar tells a story of the Frankish king [Chlodio](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlodio) taking a summer bath with his wife when she was attacked by some sort of sea beast, which Fredegar described as *bestea Neptuni Quinotauri similis*, (“the beast of [Neptune](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neptune_(mythology)) that looks like a [Quinotaur](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinotaur)”). Because of the attack, it was unknown if [Merovech](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merovech), the legendary founder of the [Merovingian dynasty](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merovingian_dynasty) was conceived of Chlodio or the sea beast.

  12. As a Norwegian with a greek father, whats the difference? Honestly you could match most norse gods to a hellenic one. Zeus-Odin Ares-Thor Freyja-Aphrodite etc etc
