Did anyone else wake up to this email today?
Saw the email and freaked out. Rang Danske and got through to a CS agent and told me he couldn't see an issue at their end and to check with my bank that the DD is setup with.
Before doing that I wanted to make a one off payment to clear the outstanding balance so I rang back, they were able to pass me on to someone from the mortgage team, she then told me she's had a pile of calls all morning related to missed DD payments so she suspecting an issue at their end.
Nothing on their site to confirm, wondering if anyone else had this?

Be careful this isn’t a scam.
Is the email it came from 100%? Are there any wee sneaky dots, dashes or a diff domain name?
That has scam written all over it.
AFAIK banks don’t normally have links on e-mails they issue and there wouldn’t be a random reference number.
Looks dodgy mate. Ignore and call into a branch instead.
That is the legit ‘oh shit I might be a bad creditor’ number for Danske Bank so my scammy sense isn’t really tingling.
Remember kids, never click a link or call a number from an email claiming to be your bank. Call then directly from the number on their website.
Had a similar thing happen to me with Danske for my January payment. Had some issue with their system that direct debits weren’t taken if your payment date was towards the end of Jan.
Called them on the 31st and they told me how to make the payment manually. Just need to do the same pal you can get the number on their website.
I wouldn’t click on any links. Go into the bank and ask to sort this out with an advisor
the “Whatever the situation” doesnt seem right
Its a scam for other reasons too but that jumped out at me right away
You should probably have blurred out your reference number. This is unique to you.
