  1. try as you might, you’ll not be able to paint roman history with modern ideas of race and racism.
Yeah, half of the roman empire were africans or middle eastern peoples. Yeah, there were both dark and light skinned emperors, officers, etc. It didn’t matter back then, because the US didn’t exist, and they poisoned the well of being normal about race.

  2. But that would mean all the romance-speaking people are germans too, including de French

  3. We are way more concerned about the Romans’ (and ancient Mediterranean peoples’) skin colour than they ever were.

  4. To be honest the first Romans were a bunch of savages, robbers and cunts that got educated by the Greeks coming from southern Italy after colonizing it and from the Etruscans but let me get you the nice version of the story anyway:

That statement is a crude oversimplification of early Roman history. While Rome did begin as a small settlement of Latin-speaking people who engaged in warfare, raiding, and expansion, calling them simply “savages, robbers, and cunts” ignores the complexity of their society and the broader historical context.

Early Rome (traditionally founded in 753 BCE) was influenced by several neighboring civilizations, including the Etruscans to the north and the Greek colonies in southern Italy (Magna Graecia). The Etruscans had a significant impact on Roman architecture, religious practices, and governance, while the Greeks influenced Roman art, philosophy, and literature.

However, the Romans were not just passive recipients of foreign culture—they adapted and blended these influences into their own unique identity, eventually creating one of the most influential civilizations in history. Their ability to assimilate and build upon the knowledge of other cultures was a key factor in their long-term success.

  5. Ironic, the more I see their stuff the more I am convinced Hoteps are lesser beings.

  6. This obviously fake, the US didn’t exist yet at the time of the Romans so how could there be black people smh.

  7. “even though Caucasians disagree”, I like the flow of that, I should use it whenever, even when the topic has nothing to do with race, for example: A common mistake many plant owners do is overwatering their plants, especially succulents and cactuses, even though Caucasians disagree.

  8. It may be hard to believe for your TikTik generation but this is factually true, the papers are approved. If you want to see what an Etruscan looks like in modern times just google “Pietro Pacciani”.

  9. Savages trying not to associate themselves with Europe in some way : literally impossible.

Asians, Americans, Africans can say what they want, at the end of the day, they hate us cos they ain’t us.

  10. Probably written by some 50IQ American that’s obsessed with race. I mean, who the fuck uses the term “Caucasians” in this context..

  11. Even if the eutruscans were black, they weren’t romans.

  12. I am appalled by the racially insensitive remarks here. Especially as their northern neighbour, it’s astonishing to see how little you know about our southern cousins. Let’s set the record straight:

Italians have always been representing vibrant and diverse black culture—often stereotyped as loud and spontaneous, with a culinary flair unmatched in Europe. Thats the reason they frequently get marginalized and become victims of white oppression. This is literally the cause to every problem Italy’s you could possibly imagine.

So next time you talk in Super Mario dialect and make funny gestures with your hands or order Pizza with pineapple, remember that you are perpetuating harmful stereotypes and mocking a of a centuries-long struggle against the white oppression of Italians. This can be very hurtful and like a slap in the face to the victims.

Be better than this, educate yourself, DM me if you need literature advice.

  13. So ancient Romans were black, we are their descendants… does this mean I have the n-word pass?

  14. The left is trying to rewrite history at any coat, disgusting.

  15. Wasn’t the Etruscans the first other culture conquered by the Romans (Latin culture) and from Tuscany?

  16. What is with this weird obsession with having ‘your people’ there first. My mother in law insists that the first Israeli Jews were sub Saharan Africans. It’s so dumb.

  17. Romans where white like marble, as documented by their statues.

Also Japanese were white like snow as one can see on old Japanese paintings.

And medieval children had smaller heads compared to the body size, as is documented in paintings.

  18. I don’t know what’s worse honestly. Calling the Etruscans black or referring to them as the first Romans.

  19. Queen Victoria was black, even though the Barry’s disagree

  20. The Etruscans were… black? I thought the Etruscans were among the first people that Rome conquered.

  21. So if our European heritage is based on Roman culture, and Romans were black, that means I get to say the N word?

Asking any deranged woke crackhead on behalf of a friend.

  22. “My grandma always told me: doesn’t matter what they teach you in school, Romolus was black”. Cit.

  23. “Caucasians” Tell me you’re a Yank without telling me .

  24. If the Hoteps actually did real research instead of having drugged out fever dreams, they’d find a lot of real african history to be proud of.

    But nooo, “wE wAs kInGs!”

  25. Roma è al sud della linea gotica e dunque i romani sono terroni.
