  1. Go for it, they’ve every right to.

    Interestingly (or not) however, in my 50 plus years of play fighting and parenting, I like, well like everyone EXCEPT this fella, haven’t stabbed anyone to death, or for that matter even grabbed a knife, you know, by mistake.

    There’s always a first time for everything.

    Then there’s always Occam’s razor.

    Time will tell.

    He’s told 2 versions.

    He was pissed and stoned at the time. So likely was the mother.

    Wants sympathy… I’ve never, Ever. Flashed a knife at someone. In jest or not. It’s a chuffing knife FFS. It’s no different to someone pointing at gun at you, even indirectly or jokingly. Just don’t.

  5. Even if it was a mistake (not saying it was) you’d want to do the time, you’ve taken your child’s life. Most wouldn’t want to live anymore.

    Not one of them seems concerned their daughter / granddaughter / niece was killed by him?

  8. That’s really distasteful. That girl was murdered. He changed his story and that’s always a concern during a murder investigation. Play fighting with a knife? It isn’t even believable.

  11. Having read a few other, less sensationalist, media reports and stories, the underlying narrative from the family and indeed the killer (from the witness box) and his legal reps is unarguably a shameless sob story, from all but young Scarlett’s perspective, about me me me and me!

    Fuck him and the rest of his apologists…
