Christ imagine the mess. Sure as shit every crumb would go everywhere bar the box for me.
There’s still a Clements in the library at QUB apparently, the bastard chains and Covid took out the rest.
My auntie Helen’s can never be beat. Sadly she died nearly 40 years ago…
Not in Belfast, but the Cosy Bakery in Union St Lurgan do amazing sausage rolls and filled sodas, it’s literally queued out the door every day.
Ann’s Pantry on Larne Main Street. Phenomenal.
Best ones to buy and cook at home are from McKees butchers, Maghera.
Cafe Central on Bishop St do an incredible homemade sausage roll with black pudding.
I usually avoid them because they kill me with heartburn but this was top notch.
Pastry was light, meat was flavourful and didn’t taste of regret and offal.
Solid fare, I’d box my ma for one this morning.
Iron’s bakery in Ballymena, Harryville. Hands down, best sausage rolls about. A little smaller than that beast, but you could easily hammer 4-5 of them down in one sitting.
Ian’s bakery in Rosetta
The beef ones from the Village bakery in Markethill.
Elite!
You’d need some amount of ketchup for that monster
Has ended. Bloody hell.
Hutchinsons Butchers in Cookstown do the best beef sausage rolls, they are divine and he sells out constantly. He also does Pork, stuffing and cranberry ones which were a Christmas limited edition but due to demand he brought them back, oh and they do chilli ones too
If you call in that way grab yourself a chicken & ham pie too. Unbelievable

Bushes bakery on main street in Crumlin
Audacity on Beersbridge Rd or Liz Marr Cregagh Rd. Both are awesome.

Porterhouse Prime Meats in the cutts industrial estate do some banging sausage rolls, pork, pork and bacon and cheese, beef… Sometimes there are special ones. They are a little expensive, but worth it.
Cookie Jar in Newcastle is a good punt
French Village in Belfast (Montgomery Road in the East), (Lisburn Road and Botanic Avenue in the South) used to do 2 hander landers like this back in the day!
About 10 years ago there was (may still be) a shop in Poyntzpass and I swear to almighty God himself, I’ve had sausage rolls all over the country, even had some in Majorca last year, and the ones in Trainors shop in that town are the best thing I’ve ever consumed. And by a long long margin.
Urban fresh sausage rolls are gorgeous tbh
Bread Street in Great Northern Mall / Great Victoria Street station do these big ones called Barneys which I think are great – pork and caramelised red onion, tasty.
Audacity on the Beersbridge Road did absolutely massive homemade ones for ages, they’ve recently stopped but should be bringing them back at some point this year.
Lolly and cooks Dublin. Hands down the best sassidge roll ever
Bread and Banjo on Ormeau Road! The jerk chicken pasties are class, too
Angus Farm Shop in Greyabbey make their own sausage rolls in house and they are amazing – particularly recommend the sweet chilli pork ones 😋🤤
There’s a great wee bakery in Castlerock.
