The problem imo is less the surrender of the US, which is not surprising, but the fact that we Europeans will continue to put our heads in the sand, waiting for Uncle Sam to save us once more. I wish our denial would end with this, but I believe we will just wait another four years.

Let’s be blunt here, with the exception of Vichy France, no one could ever really call the French surrender monkeys.
They slapped the fuck out of all of us for a lot of the Napoleonic wars. Napoleon (admittedly not French himself, but leading a French Army) was like the T1000: we thought that turd had been neutralised, but no he came back and it took two combined armies to finally batter the shite out of the French enough that they gave up on that Corsican fuck

I’ll lead the charge if you want, waving both my country flag and the EU flag running at the enemy line and I’ll take that bullet in the head if you really need this to finally, finally send our troops to stop a dictator from ravaging our continent. You know, literally sending our military for things that matter when it matters, rather than being too scared to send peoples trained for war in an actual war.
